"We hired the electric mountain bikes and had a blast, definitely the way to see the island and what great service from the team, highly recommend you go see them if your planning a trip to the Barrier"

"A MUST DO! Took the paddleboards and kayaks out one day and the e-bikes out to see the island the next day. Was so much fun. Can't think of a better way to enjoy the island. Lucy, Pete & Panzer were the friendliest locals we met on the Island by far. Will definitely be going here EVERY time we go to Great Barrier Island. Highly recommend it, can't wait to return!"

Our stay was incredible. Pete and Lucy were the most amazing hosts- From bringing us fresh fish and crayfish from his catch to offering us extra time in the house (due to the covid19 situation), these hosts really went the extra mile and made the stay all the more special. The house itself has a breathtaking view and we loved the ability to grab a paddleboard or kayak from the property and go explore the wildlife in the bay below. Absolute bliss- a must stay!

This place is absolute paradise! Situated right on the beach with mesmerising views I felt like I had stumbled into the best kept secret on Air BNB.  The outdoor baths are magical, they have the best view of the sunset and rise, all you hear are the ocean and birds. I can’t wait to come back for a romantic weekend. I never wanted to leave. Thank you so much Pete and Lucy for sharing this space with the rest of the world. It’s one in a million.
